Title: Environmental Field Operations Manager
Location: Tonawanda, NY
Pay Range: $110,000-130,000

This role is responsible for managing a team of field technicians, coordinating fieldwork logistics, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget. What You Will Do - Manage and lead a team of field supervisors and field personnel, promoting a positive work environment and professional development.
- Provide strong leadership and direction to branch staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and innovation.
- Manage the facility/service center according to budget by managing expenses, labor utilization, equipment expenses, facilities, etc.
- Ensure all facilities and equipment meet compliance standards related to DOT, maintenance, and safety.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to support job execution and ensure project goals are met.
- Coordinate crew assignments and schedule personnel for projects.
- Monitor project sites daily to assess progress and address issues.
- Oversee repairs and maintenance of the environmental fleet.
- Manage supply orders and ensure timely delivery of materials for projects.
- Track and analyze job costs to maintain budget efficiency.
- Optimize fleet equipment usage for maximum productivity.
- Handle administrative tasks, including timecard processing and performance reviews.
Supervisory Responsibilities - Supervise and manage performance; ensure tasks are appropriately delegated and completed by monitoring performance and holding employees accountable for meeting expectations.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to staff, deliver corrective action and discipline when necessary, and document all performance issues.
- Ensure employees adhere to company policies and legal regulations, engage HR when appropriate.
- Manage conflict and crisis; proactively anticipate, manage and constructively resolve conflicts and disagreements.
- Hold regular team meetings (i.e. daily, weekly huddle meetings) to communicate priorities, safety, policies, company events, etc.
Safety Responsibilities - Collaborate with NOCO's Health and Safety Team to foster a strong safety culture.
- Understand, provide leadership, and communicate safety goals and objectives.
- Orient, train, and coach all team members on safety requirements, ensure safety compliance and take appropriate action to address safety violations.
- Establish and maintain a clean, safe work environment complying with company and OSHA standards and perform monthly safety inspections, as assigned.
- Follow company policies to report and investigate all accidents and near-miss incidents. Perform root cause analysis and address performance and related discipline issues, as appropriate.

What You Will Need - Five years of experience in the environmental industry, preferred
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial management, preferred
- Project management experience and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Client-focused mindset with a track record of building and maintaining client relationships
