Overview
This is a Summer 2025 internship.
Responsibilities
• Assist developing, updating, and maintaining all environmental programs within the organization, as needed
• Conduct and help oversee environmental training
• Perform facility inspections/audits to identify environmental and safety concerns and/or best management practices
• Conduct research in order to further improve company's environmental programs
Qualifications
• Candidate should be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in a science related major
• Must have completed at least their freshmen year of study
• Preferred GPA of at least 3.0
• Must be willing to conduct environmental audits in an industrial setting
• Must have a legal driver's license
• Must be highly organized and have a strong ability to multitask
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and management
• Ability to concisely document environmental programs, findings and recommendations
• Strong analytical and issue identification, prioritization and resolution skills
• Ability to work successfully both independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to act objectively and within the strictest environment of confidentiality
• Must be highly proficient with PC applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
