This position provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to join SolarEdge's North American Commercial Sales Team and have a major part in leading the company's sales efforts in the commercial and industrial segment of the solar industry, through direct and channel sales. Location : Remote. Southern US states including TX, OK, MS, LA, AL, AK, NM, KS and MO Duties and Responsibilities Commercial & industrial (C&I) regional management role for the South Central region of the US (TX, OK, NM, AR, LA), Mexico, the Caribbean and all of CALA. Holistic responsibilities for C&I regional management growth of bookings & shipments from all distributors, end users and EPC/development partners. Become the defacto Southern Territory expert for all C&I issues Identify and close sales opportunities in accordance with the company's overall strategic plans and financial objectives Develop and maintain relationships with enterprise accounts, EPCs, distributors, design engineers, project developers, asset owners and design engineering firms Actively pursue direct sales leads with EPCs, distributors, project developers and utility companies looking to meet ESG objectives to deploy solar Built relationships with enterprise companies include Fortune 500, manufacturing, agricultural, REITs, big box stores, warehousing, schools, universities, hospitals and other entities Sell SolarEdge C&I value and assist with RFP creation to these same entities Attend industry events to target sustainability managers of these entities who are gathering industry knowledge on renewable energy Assist with forecast of revenue on a regular basis and review sales results to ensure that established targets are being met; take corrective action where required Nurture the relationship with leading PV project developers at multiple levels to ensure that SolarEdge remains the supplier of choice for power conversion electronics for their installations Assist the product management teams to define and improve the product portfolio for use in the US market by regularly gathering feedback from customers, business partners and by closely monitoring industry trends Provide input regarding marketing and product positioning strategies specific to the US market Successfully execute a brand and messaging strategy and act as an external evangelist for the brand Liaise with the U.S. and global executive management team and peers to ensure that sales targets are being defined and achieved Requirements MUST HAVE: Demonstrated bilingual capability - fluent in English & Spanish Must be comfortable traveling individually throughout CALA, the Caribbean, Mexico and the South Central region of the US (as defined above). A BA/BS degree. BS in a related technical discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering a plus. Minimum 7 years' experience in technical sales managing complex engineered solutions and multiple channels to market including distribution, EPCs, project developers/owners and financial institutions. Previous experience in the PV industry. A knowledge of roof top and ground mount solar is required. Solid and verifiable track record of overachievement Candidates should have a verifiable record of successfully growing market share Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand the technical workings of the SolarEdge product offering and power electronics solutions An ability to convey advanced technical product benefits to potential customers in easy-to-grasp terms. Proven track record of identifying, negotiating and closing large revenue deals Ability to identify and convert new accounts while maintaining existing relationships Demonstrated success in operating effectively in a fast-paced, complex, rapid growth environment Possesses a distinct customer service focus with demonstratable skills in handling complex customer issues Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be approximately $120-130k. OTE includes base, commission, and equity. Target commission is an additional 50% of the base salary. Base pay offered is based on market location and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at SolarEdge. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
