Job OverviewTE Connectivity's Account Management Teams are responsible for selling TE's products, systems or services, providing detailed technical product information and maintaining relationships with customers in assigned geographic territory, industry or accounts. What your background should look like:•Working with Focus Accounts to recommend products for new and existing applications•Identifying opportunities; determining solutions; creating demand through OID sessions, branch training, joint customer visits with distributors.•Serves as customer contact on technical and service-related problems.•Identifies new applications, product requirements thru OID sessions, branch training, and joint customer visits with distributors. •May include any aspect of product field support - including recommended manufacturing processes, product assembly into finished goods, and application evaluation.•Provides technical support to customers related application tooling for APL products.•Supports quality engineering with initial field analysis of customer complaints.•Develop and execute regional strategic plans for assigned distribution partners including, MARCOM plan, BU sales initiatives, new customer identification, and growth plans by territory and product family.•Support CBU GAM/KAM with inventory analysis and review of POP performance by CLS GPL's.•Provide technical product and application training to assigned Distributor - Product Management, Inside Sales, Asset Managers•Drives indirect channel sales performance and meets sales targets by reviewing assigned distributor performance - top/bottom customers, GPL trends, NPI promotions, and competitive cross reference activities.Requirements•B.S. in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or B.A./B.B.A with a focus in General Business, Management or Marketing.•Up to 3 years of sales experience preferably selling engineered electrical products•Effective organizational and interpersonal skills•Proven leadership experience, problem solving abilities and analytical skill•Excellent oral/written communication and influencing skill•Must have the ability to work independently•Ability to work with cross-functional teams•Knowledge of project management principles.
