Airswift is seeking a Solar Project Manager to work on a long term contract basis with a leader in the clean energy industry. Projects are located in Oklahoma and contractor will be expected to be onsite at least 2 weeks out of every month. Benefits, per diem (for 100% site based candidates) and other perks are available. Role Overview - Oversee multiple large-scale utility solar projects, each with a capacity of 250mw+.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
- Utilize your experience in solar, battery energy storage systems, renewables, and or interconnection to drive project success.
- Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project progress.
- Identify and mitigate any potential risks or issues that may arise during the project.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and act as the main point of contact for all project-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Work onsite to oversee project operations and provide guidance to on-site teams.
Skills & Qualifications - Proven experience in project management, preferably in the solar industry.
- In-depth knowledge of solar energy, battery storage systems, renewables, and interconnection.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Experience with owner-side project management is highly preferred.
Education & Experience - Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the solar industry.
- Candidates with PM experience on the Owner side are highly preferred.
