Job description:Seeking a highly motivated engineer to own continuous improvement of the lithography develop/wet etch process area in a photomask manufacturing cleanroom. The employee will balance daily sustaining activities with continuous improvement work targeting increased safety, productivity, yield, and manufacturing efficiency. The candidate should possess the ability to develop a vision for their area and then execute a plan to make that vision a reality. Work will be onsite in our Round Rock Facility.
Primary Responsibilities- Support a safe work environment by establishing and modeling (e.g. always wearing appropriate PPE) practices and procedures that enable safe work.
- Ensure that the area complies with quality system requirements including documented operations procedures, maintenance procedures, FMEAs, and Control Plans.
- Execute all changes in compliance with change control requirements.
- Develop, test, and implement process and equipment changes to improve key process outputs.
- Establish, monitor, maintain, and react to statistical process controls.
- Provide technical training to operations team members to enable execution success.
- Work with engineering team members to drive improvement of module metrics.
- Others as defined by Module Manager.
Education/Experience Requirements- Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, or related degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of chemical engineering-related experience within the Photomask, Semiconductor, or Electronics industry. Lab or graduate experience is acceptable.
- Hands-on process and equipment experience working with wet chemical equipment using appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Quality systems (CP, FMEA, 8D, etc.)
- Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for process/equipment interactions.
- Working knowledge and practical experience with SPC, DOE, and statistical analysis.
- Mature data analysis skills using tools such as JMP, Minitab, Spotfire, and Excel.
- Computer programming skills are a plus.

- Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work in cleanroom doing hands-on work for a significant part of the workday.

- Experience in problem-solving methods.
- Working knowledge and practical experience with SPC, DOE, and statistical hypothesis testing.
- Mature data analysis skills using tools such as JMP, Minitab, Spotfire, and Excel.
