Your Impact As a Director of EPC Development focused on EPC services at Verogy, you will play a pivotal role in the expansion and development of our EPC service pipeline. Your work will involve developing and maintaining relationships with other solar project developers, asset owners, utility companies, and various industry stakeholders. This role is crucial in ensuring that our projects are developed efficiently, on schedule, and aligned with our strategic goals. In this role, you will work closely with the Verogy EPC team, Other Solar Project Developers, Asset Owners, Utility Companies, MSC Providers, Engineers, Brokers, and others to leverage industry relationships and drive the successful development of solar projects. Your ability to navigate the complexities of project development, from site selection to project execution, will directly contribute to Verogy's mission to lead in renewable energy solutions. This hybrid position requires some time in the office and travel. Your Role: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including solar project developers, asset owners, utility companies, MSC providers, engineers, and brokers. Lead the project development process, from initial concept through to project execution, ensuring alignment with Verogy's goals and industry best practices. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including EPC & O&M, to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget. Identify and assess new project opportunities, leveraging your network and industry knowledge. Negotiate and secure agreements with landowners, utility companies, and other stakeholders as needed to facilitate project development. Manage project documentation and ensure all necessary approvals and permits are obtained in a timely manner. Provide regular updates to the senior management team on project progress, challenges, and strategic recommendations. Utilize project management software and tools to track and report on project milestones and ensure effective communication across all teams. What You'll Bring: 5 years of experience in solar project development or EPC services, with a strong understanding of the renewable energy sector. Proven track record in managing complex projects and working with a diverse range of stakeholders in the solar industry. Technical expertise in Salesforce / CRM software platforms with a focus on solar project development. Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain networks across the industry. Experience with regulatory frameworks and permitting processes throughout the continental US. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners. Compensation: The annual salary range for this role is $100,000-$125,000. The salary range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a base salary, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity).
