Job Summary Avient Corporation is seeking a Tax Intern to join our Corporate Tax Team for the 2025 summer intern season. This opportunity will give you exposure to various areas of corporate tax, including international, domestic, and transfer pricing. You will partner closely with the tax and finance team members globally to assist with corporate tax research, forecasting, and reporting. In addition to expanding your tax knowledge and work experience, you will be part of Avient Corporate Headquarters' summer intern program with opportunities to develop personally, professionally, and network with other interns and corporate leaders. Essential Functions • Work as a partner with the department team members to resolve tax related issues. • Assist with data requests, account reconciliations, reports, and documentation. • Interact and build relationships within the tax department and broader global finance team. Education and Experience • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in accounting (incoming junior or senior) • Interested in taking the CPA post-graduation. • Resident of Northeast Ohio • Team player with strong organization and project management skills • Eagerness to learn and inherently curious. • Collaborative work style with ability to communicate effectively. • Action-oriented workstyle, not afraid to dig into details and accomplish the task at hand. • Enjoys a challenging, dynamic atmosphere.
