The primary responsibility of this position is to inspect, measure and cut tubing in a positive, customer-centric environment. Your Role and Responsibilities:Read and understand specifications and apply that data to the visual inspection of glass tubingSet up Measuring Machine and perform dimensional inspection of tubing.Cut tubing to length specifications using pipe cutter or knife.Must be versatile enough to multi-task cutting, measuring and inspecting products being produced on two S-Zugs simultaneously when required.Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.Record data in SAP; prepare reports as required.Measure, visually inspect, load, and hang cylinders.Transport tubes.Check calibration on six measuring machines, sign off on the results, and report malfunctions to maintenance What is required for this role:High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, or 1-year relevant experience required.A minimum of 6 months of manufacturing experience is a plus.The equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
