Entry Level Enviromental Engineer or Scientist to work with our
EHS Compliance team on providing environmental consulting services to various clients across the MidCon region. This position will be based in our
Houston, TX office.

Let's solve the big problems together.Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: - Complete and/or support technical projects related to environmental due diligence and environmental compliance, including but not limited to:
- Project coordination for Corporate Waste Programs
- Permit application development (e.g., air emissions, storm water discharges, wastewater discharges, etc.)
- Environmental plan development and updates, such as Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), and Hazardous Waste Contingency Plans (HWCPs)
- Environmental compliance reporting, such as air emissions reporting, hazardous waste generator reporting, and Emergency Planning Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) reporting (i.e., Tier II and Form R)
- Conduct facility and site visits to gather information for written project work
- Write technical reports and support development of client proposals
- Work with various industrial clients
- Proposal development and client engagements
- Comprehend and interpret regulations and guidelines
- Develop working relationships and communicate effectively with supervisor, project directors, project managers, project team members, clients, and regulators
What you will bring to the team: - Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university
- 0 to 2+ years of experience
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Some knowledge of environmental regulations affecting industry (Preferred, but not required)
- OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus
- Proficiency with MS applications
- Ability to perform field work and travel overnight
- Self-motivated, organized, and hard-working
- Strong written and technical writing skills
- Ability to excel in a multidisciplinary team environment as well as independently
- Commitment to safety through a behavior-based safety (BBS) culture in all aspects of the job
