Aquatic Educators at Small Fish Big Fish Swim School will be responsible for conducting swim lessons for multiple clients of different ages and skill levels. Aquatic Educators may sometimes be asked to perform ad hoc business-related duties.

Responsibilities- Organize and instruct individual students and small groups in swim lessons and aquatic safety.
- This includes babies and me, preschool aquatics, and six levels of learn-to-swim courses (guppies, minnows, goldfish, barracudas, dolphins, sharks).
- Lift and maneuver students to educate them on proper technique throughout the lesson.
- Follow Small Fish Big Fish methods and techniques for daily instruction.
- Act as a company spokesperson at community events by educating potential clients and community members on water safety and drowning prevention.
Requirements- Schedule: Must be able to work a minimum of two days weekdays from 3:30 pm - 8:30 pm and a minimum of one weekend day, Saturday or Sunday, from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.
- Water Safety Instructor certification
- Lifeguard/CPR Certification
- At least 1- 3 years of experience with Swim Instruction, Education, and/or Aquatics.

Physical Demands- Ability to Walk and Stand for long periods of time
- Ability to squat, bend, reach, and climb frequently
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
Work Environment- Work will be conducted primarily in water/swimming pool setting of the facility
- Due to water temperature, temperature may slightly fluctuate
- May occasionally walk on slippery surfaces, or surfaces covered with gymnastics equipment
- Noise level in the work environment is frequently loud
