What You Bring to Cambia:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in non-profit management, public administration, business management or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in corporate philanthropy, corporate social responsibility or community affairs, plus a minimum 4-6 years of experience in budgeting and budget monitoring of philanthropic investment expenses or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills and Attributes:
- Experience successfully leading teams in multiple locations, in a highly matrixed organization with the ability to work independently.
- Deep understanding of corporate philanthropy and corporate social responsibility principles.
- Demonstrated competency in executing broadly applied corporate philanthropy strategies, including using data to inform decision making and measure impact/return on investments.
- Thorough knowledge of community relations and philanthropy across the Regence footprint.
- Ability to support strategic nonprofit relationships with local, regional, and national corporate philanthropy community.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to interact successfully at all levels within the organization and effectively represent the company in public settings with external audiences.
- Excellent analytical, verbal and written communications.
- Strong planning and project management abilities.
- Well-organized, creative, and have a high desire to learn, contribute, and operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work across teams, manage multiple priorities effectively, assimilate information quickly, analyze problems, implement appropriate solutions, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to create strong external partnerships and communicate key messages that enhance Cambia's reputation as a leader in corporate philanthropy.
- Ability to create loyalty and generate strong partnerships among diverse, geographically separated individuals, work groups, and teams.
- Ability to understand company business strategy and align external philanthropic partnerships.
- Demonstrated willingness and ability to take initiative to ensure Cambia remains a leader of innovative philanthropic investments and community partnerships.
What You Will Do at Cambia:
- Serve as chair of Cambia's internal Corporate Citizenship Committee.
- Enhance the company's corporate reputation through developing and maintaining relationships with community leaders, charitable giving partners, public health entities, elected officials, and nonprofit organizations.
- Oversee budget, finances, and day-to-day operations of the Cambia Health Foundation Team.
- Build external relationships among public and private funders and seek opportunities for collaboration.
- Connect with and amplify the voices of nonprofit grant partners.
- Develop thought leadership and research to advance evidence-backed models.
- Engage external partners in public-private partnerships to address shared challenges.
- Serve as a spokesperson to represent Cambia's philanthropic arm in the communities we serve.
- Share stories of impact with employees, consumers, and the public.
- Inspire employee giving and volunteerism and administer 50% match from Cambia Health Foundation.
- Raise external awareness of Cambia's commitment to the community.
- Provide ongoing leadership to employees by facilitating timely decisions and effective communication.
- Provide leadership in developing, implementing, and communicating short and long-range plans.
The expected hiring range for this position is $175,950-238,050 depending on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure/certifications; and performance history. The bonus target for this position is 25%. The current full salary range for this role is $165,000-270,000.
