Summary:
In this role, you will provide and drive results through efficient and successful delivery of clinical consulting engagements related to Surgical Services categories for providers, suppliers, and clients. You will be expected to meet or exceed contractual obligations, including savings guarantees for all assigned projects leading to high member/provider/client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise and strategic direction that focuses on cost effective, customer-focused patient care while reducing variation in cost and quality of patient care.
- Initiate and maintain senior level client relationships, including periodic interaction with the C-suite.
- Direct teams in performing analyses to achieve strategic insight to solve complex business problems.
- Ensure successful and sustainable implementation of Vizient tools and technologies at client sites.
- Provide business development support by generating leads or participating in close of sales.
- Contribute to practice development by presenting at conferences, publishing and assisting in the development of new products or services to broaden depth and scope of Operating Room/Perioperative and Surgical Services consulting and related services.
- Work with Spend Management leaders to ensure strategic alignment and strong coordination throughout the engagement.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree preferred. Clinical degree desired.
- 7 or more years of relevant healthcare provider/consulting experience working across clinical and cost improvement-related areas within a progressive healthcare provider organization and/or in consulting firm required.
- Service Line Management experience in a Surgical Services/Perioperative department required.
- Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) preferred.
- Proven experience developing and implementing operating plans, analyzing financial and quality data.
- Successful track record of managing and prioritizing multiple time-sensitive projects.
- Ability to positively interact with executives, providers, and staff at all levels.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
- Self-motivator with ability to work independently.
- Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet provider, supplier and client needs/timetables.
Estimated Hiring Range: At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $194,200.00. This position is also incentive eligible.
