WHAT YOU DO
- Direct waste management activities! You will assist the environmental services activities of the company through the management and coordination of waste services.
- Maintain waste records! You will produce monthly waste reports and keep current and accurate waste operations records to identify issues or potential issues. You will make recommendations to management and resolve these issues in a timely fashion.
- Conduct inspections and properly identify waste! You will classify waste and audit our waste storage containers and facilities to ensure our compliance in the proper handling and disposal of waste.
WHAT YOU NEED
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Five (5) years' experience in the environmental services industry experience is required.
- Five (5) years' experience in coordinating and scheduling is preferred.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of industry best practices, risk assessment techniques, standards, and all applicable laws and regulations as they relate to the waste and disposal fields is required.
- HAZWOPER certification is highly preferred.
- Must provide current DMV printout upon hire. A clean driving record is highly preferred.
- The ability to use equipment to manage containers weighing up to 400 pounds is required.
