VideosDutiesAs a/an Biologist you will:
- Provide expert scientific advice, consultation and leadership in designing, coordinating and maintaining scientific project goals, objectives and priorities within a CIO and/or CDC/ATSDR and in the general public health community.
- Implement scientific policies and procedures on biological science practices and principles.
- Serves as an expert, providing scientific biological advice and consultation on solutions to critical problems that require creating new approaches, and standards to be used within the applicable CIO.
- Supervise a small contingent of positions. Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work, when necessary.
Requirements Conditions of EmploymentDue to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC's) process enhancement to use Shared Certificates throughout the Agency, some of the requirements below may differ:- US Citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:- Degree: biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
