About the role We are seeking an experiencedSenior Industrial Engineer with expertise in manufacturing, program management, and production planning to lead critical initiatives in our solar panel recycling operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in industrial engineering, exceptional organizational skills, and a collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork. This role requires a strategic leader who can optimize processes, enhance production efficiency, and drive continuous improvement across departments, including Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, Logistics, Procurement, and more. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement manufacturing and production plans to support efficient, cost-effective recycling operations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and maximize throughput in a high-growth environment. Lead complex, cross-departmental projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and seamless collaboration among Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, Logistics, Procurement, and other stakeholders. Utilize data-driven insights and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to streamline workflows and reduce cycle times. Provide production planning expertise, optimizing resource allocation, scheduling, and inventory management to meet demand. Collaborate with Maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and uptime, supporting proactive maintenance planning. Partner with Procurement to ensure timely availability of materials and components necessary for production continuity. Work closely with Operations and Engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve process inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions. Lead program management activities, including project scheduling, budgeting, resource management, and reporting, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope. Foster a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence across the organization. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing and industrial engineering, with a strong focus on program management and production planning. Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, Logistics, and Procurement. Experience in high-volume manufacturing or recycling operations is a strong plus. Proficiency in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, with demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement initiatives. Strong project management skills with experience using software tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet). Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and implement actionable solutions.
