About the Role The Process Engineer will be responsible for designing, specifying, technical requisitioning and integration of various components of detailed engineering packages. This role will also be responsible for technical review and submission and issuance of engineering documentation, interfacing with the project team. We provide expert engineering solutions to our customers. You will do the same by: Responsible for the sizing and selection of static and rotating mechanical equipment such as compressors (air/gas), nitrogen membranes, pressure vessels, heat transfer equipment, pumps, valves and piping. Process Simulation using commercial software. Designing, specifying, technical requisitioning and integration of various components of the packages such as motors, engines, turbines, compressors, pumps, electric motors, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping, control systems and instrumentation. Detail engineering of equipment packages involving process sizing, design calculations. Technical review and submission/issue of engineering documentation, interfacing with production team to ensure timely project execution confirming to customers’ technical requirements, codes, standards and local regulations. Technical support between engineering and sales team – providing expertise in application of design, practicability of design, etc. Review of customer inquiry specifications, vendor proposals, basic engineering design, preparation of basic engineering package, skid layout and detailed cost and delivery estimates. Line sizing, PFD, PID development including instrumentation and control schemes. Supporting commissioning team with technical support to address any issues during Shop (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT). Support on site and off site as required. Requirements The ideal candidate will have the following: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent degree, required. 4-7 years of relevant experience in packaged equipment design, engineering, materials and fabrication of process equipment for manufacturing, energy or process industries, within RNG industries, preferred. Must have in-depth knowledge/understanding of the full process system design. Knowledge of fluid handling equipment, vessel design, filtration, heat exchanger sizing, and gas separation equipment (membranes, PSA/TSA/vPSA’s).
