Swine Veterinarian - Advanced Animal Health Leadership
Seeking an innovative Veterinarian to lead comprehensive animal health programs for a progressive pork production organization south of Minneapolis, MN.
Compensation: $150,000 - $200,000
- Potential sign-on bonus
- Relocation support available
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead veterinary and animal health strategy - development and coordination of all Science and Technology programs
- Develop and implement health programs - including herd health, animal welfare, production sciences, pork safety and quality, producer and public health and sustainability
- Manage HFI Animal Welfare Program, CIA, PQA and TQA
- Coordinate with research and production teams
- Oversee government agency communications - (USDA, FDA, BAH)
- Monitor performance and data integrity
- Manage vaccination and medication programs
Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine
- 5 years management experience
- Advanced computer proficiency
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities
