Commercial Solar Installer

Transform Energy is seeking team members to install Commercial grid-tied PV systems. In this position, the PV Installer will provide support to the crew lead of the installation team and ensure the completion of installation of all solar arrays/systems.

**This position requires frequent travel and overnight stays**

**A valid driver's license is required**

**A successful completion of background check is required**

COMPENSATION

Prevailing wage as applicable.
Hotel costs paid by employer when work requires overnight stay

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Install solar systems and associated electrical equipment
Follow safe working practices are followed at all times on the job site
Support the Crew Lead to assure the successful completion of systems
Complete all work efficiently and to a high-quality standard
Layout and assembly of solar modules/array and mounting hardware
Mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules and electrical equipment
Electrical wiring of solar array/system (AC and DC)
Operate machinery
Document completion of installation
Clean up of job site
Ensure outstanding customer service standard is met
Attend mandatory training sessions on new products, installation methodology, and safety
Additional duties required as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 2 year of commercial solar installation experience required
High school diploma or GED required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Experienced with reading and interpreting plan sets
Electrical experience
Professional appearance
Strong customer service
Must have a strong work ethic

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, high voltage electric and outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud. 4/10 schedule between October 1st through June 30th and 5/8 schedule between July 1st and September 30th.
