SUMMARY The primary purpose of this position is to supervise and facilitate the construction phase of projects by directly managing sub-contractors and providing oversight and project support for production, safety, and quality. Primarily focuses on General Contracting projects and serves as the on-site project manager, schedule and sequence turf installations. Individual must be comfortable interacting and communicating with customers and contractors, be able to articulate the views of FieldTurf and listen to the client. Serves as regional customer service liaison; supports Sales team by attending pre-bid meetings and presentations as necessary. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Attends pre-construction and progress meetings. Verifies site conditions throughout project and documents critical site details. Ensure construction execution complies with the plans and specifications. Ensure that all needed materials and equipment for the project are delivered on time. Ensure proper staging area for equipment and materials. Verifies that necessary critical documents, local rules, and permits are complete, delivered and/or posted. Completes weekly forecast and production reports to Project Manager and Director of Construction Management. Monitors and communicates changes in the scope of a project and opportunities for additional revenue or cost savings to the RVP Sales and VP of Design and Construction. Communicates work schedule to the Owner, GC, sub-contractors, Sales and the Project Manager. Schedules and sequences all installation mobilizations and activities. Directly supervises sub-contractors and vendors on the project site. Enforces company safety regulations, standard operating procedures, and quality standards. OSHA 30 required but can be obtained after employment. Works with customers, installation crews, sub-contractors and Sales to resolve operational and technical issues and challenges. Reviews and approves sub-contractor invoices, assists Project Manager in billing subcontractor invoices and change orders. Ensure proper project closeout; Certificate of Completion/ Substantial Completion, maintenance hand-off and checklist completed. Provides Subject Matter Expert support to Sales/Customer in order to ensure award of contract. Responsible for profit and loss of all General Contracting Projects and meets regional goals. Perform onsite base inspections, coordinate material deliveries with installation sub-contractors. Perform Field Evaluations as necessary to assist Customer Service. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources. Assist in the accomplishment of Company goals. Help other employees to accomplish Company goals. Perform other duties as may be assigned by department supervisor. Self-disciplined and self-motivated. Maintain multi-tasking skills to prioritize ever-changing needs, demands, crisis management. Provide real-time construction status daily reports to Project Manager, Sales Managers, Director of Construction, VP of Design and Construction. When time allows, attend sales meetings with Regional Sales Managers to outline minimum civil details and design recommendations. Visit with regional civil partners and subcontractors to outline minimum civil details and design recommendations. Pre-Punch construction sites for expedited closeout. Provide Owner Training, if applicable. Attend and participate in Weekly Regional Conference call (WIP Calls). Perform minor on-site repairs, if applicable, and after training. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with supervision of our civil partners on job sites. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include planning and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
