The Director of Talent Programs is a dynamic, energetic, and strong team player supporting the recruitment opportunity within the organization, the development of its people, and Spark Power branding. Reporting to the Vice Presidents of the operational teams, this role is responsible for all programs related to recruiting, learning and development, and entry programs. What will you do as a Director of Talent Programs: Development of Recruitment Strategies Develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans with assistance from operational teams. Plan and conduct recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening calls, etc.). Take steps to ensure positive candidate experience. Oversee employer branding programs (University Relations, external marketing, and public relations). Work with the Talent Acquisition team and operations to establish efficient processes in recruiting that align with the overall corporate strategy. Leadership Lead employment branding initiatives. Organize and/or attend career fairs, assessment centers, or other events. Responsible for Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development teams. Participate in corporate level discussions around future strategy and business focus. Forecasting of Recruitment Needs Assist in employee retention and development. Use metrics to create reports and identify areas of improvement. Work with Operations to identify current staffing needs and produce forecasts. Experience in construction/renewable energy/manufacturing would be considered an asset. Experience recruiting for technical trade positions would be preferred. Proven record of closing multiple requisitions in a timely manner. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good knowledge of the latest recruitment trends in the market. Reliability, discretion, and confidentiality. Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, and employment branding.
