Research & Building Science Engineer, Dallas, Texas, United States, Engineering, Building Materials Provides pre- and post-sales technical solutions, market, and product development as well as implementation and services focusing on employee and customer training relating to energy conservation and the use of products. Specific Responsibilities: Develop and implement training resources so that the sales personnel become resources for the architectural and contractor communities. Develop, certify, and implement professional presentations to inform and guide the engineering and architectural community in building science and designing with continuous insulation. Conduct in-house testing for product development, and work with third-party labs to perform assembly tests for fire, air, and water. Participate in standards organizations, trade associations and other industry groups to collaborate with outside professionals on issues such as code/standards development, product and building performance, construction techniques and building envelop design. Provide support to engineers, contractors, architects, customers, and personnel to verify product applicability, incorporate proper installation and maximize sales. Perform field/site visits to assist with proper implantation of the products Your expertise - Our strength Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university Five to ten years related experience and/or training Strong verbal, written, analytical, and persuasive skills, and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management Ability to analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry Knowledge of CAD Strong Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
