As a Journeyman Lineman, you will play a pivotal role in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical power systems, ensuring uninterrupted power supply to customers while adhering to all safety standards and regulations. Job Overview Line Specialist may work alone or be assigned to work with one (1) person in a lower classification without direct supervision of a foreman. Required Qualifications Minimum requirements for job: Must have completed the FPL apprentice lineman program or another recognized program Must be proficient with live line maintenance, including the use of hot sticks and FPL gloving procedures Must possess climbing skills Must be able to work in direct sunlight or at night Must be physically able to do all assigned tasks Must have or be able to obtain a valid CDL Additional requirement to hold a Power Quality Line Specialist position: Must have held and/or worked in the classification of Line Specialist or its equivalent for twenty-four (24) months.
