Minimum Requirements: MA or foreign equivalent in renewable energy/related field and 2 years of experience in the offered position or related occupation required. Also the following: 2 years of experience in construction or project management, project lead, or other management experience, preferably in the construction of commercial wind farm installations or in the construction energy industry. Description of Work to be Performed: Responsible for the overall pre-planning of construction activities, establishing initial construction budgets, and providing inputs to the sales team to ensure the sales budget and execution are aligned. Ensure the risk of the project is highlighted and mitigation steps are implemented on equipment, subcontractors, transportation, and resources required to install wind turbine generator facilities. In charge of site quality implementation, tracking activities, and implementing initiatives on the construction sites. Facilitate support for the construction site to deliver Wind Farms per industry standards and Vestas. Build full project plans individually and then work into a roll-up view. Work on project budgeting templates and sales interface. Perform automation of new construction site start-up and start-up task list. Elaborate and review budgets in the planning phase of projects, as well as on-site implementation and adherence to them. Monitor project schedule, ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met. Understand wind turbine technology, including how to install, commission, and operate a wind turbine to drive efficient cost-effective team models that enhance customer satisfaction. Responsible for developing and implementing the project execution budget, including driving operational efficiency (lower cost/MWH). Manage costs that impact the bottom line; implement initiatives that improve efficiency and effectiveness; responsible for liquidated damages mitigation. Establish the most effective and efficient staffing model to meet operational objectives. Collaborate with customer representatives to understand project constraints, flexibility to achieve creative solutions, and business acumen to realize cost-saving opportunities. Establish and maintain highly effective relationships with the customer, BOP Contractor, and internal partners. Ensure safety procedures are followed and the work site is safe for all employees, customers, subcontractors, and the public. Maintain close partnerships with the Quality, Safety, and Environment Department. Responsible for helping the management team in the drive to maintain the project site budget and operational efficiency (drives down cost/MWH). Ensure relevant testing and collection of site data is updated and processed in a timely manner in the appropriate information systems for reporting and tracking purposes, including summary of construction progress.
