Senior Quality Technician Glendale, Arizona – The position tests raw material and production orders while making adjustments to batches as necessary to ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards. Tests incoming raw materials and maintains Certificates of Analysis (COA) from suppliers. Essential Functions Performs standard tests on production batches and incoming raw materials as needed, ensuring they meet Avient and the customer’s specifications. Performs color standardizations. Acts as a technical resource to production addressing issues related to production batches. Provides recommendations to production and may develop adjustments to batches to meet specifications. Records test results in SAP and maintains reference files. Completes and maintains all required paperwork, records, documents, etc. Ensures all gauges and test equipment are verified. Participates in investigations of complaints and corrective actions as needed. Follows and complies with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintains departmental housekeeping standards. Must have manual dexterity sufficient to operate a wide variety of small hand tools, scales, hand trucks, forklift, utility knife, and mixer/secondary machinery and computer equipment. Demonstrate ability to rapidly learn the operation and set up of industrial machinery per operating procedures while following all training and plant procedures.
