Sourcing Specialist - Permanent Full-Time - Perth CBD We’re seeking a skilled Sourcing Specialist on a permanent full-time basis for our Network Maintenance and Operational Support portfolio. Join our team and develop and execute sourcing strategies, issue and evaluate tenders, conduct assessments, and negotiate commercial agreements. Your Role in Action Sourcing strategy development and execution, negotiation, and execution of commercial arrangements to achieve the best commercial outcome for Western Power. Contribute to executing a pipeline of costs saving opportunities circa $170M. Data management of sourcing related information, e-procurement tools and systems. Identify opportunities for cost savings and business improvements relevant to sourcing function. Lead commerciality and governance for contract development and execution within Western Power. Manage legal documents and contracts. Work closely with Category Specialists to implement strategies through sourcing events. Engage with contract management and operational staff. Support the development of a supply chain strategy, relevant to the sourcing function. Mentor Coordinator and graduate roles, with support from Team Leader. What Makes You a Great Fit Demonstrated sound knowledge and experience in developing and executing sourcing strategies to generate value, tender management and procurement. Strong understanding of risk and compliance management with respect to procurement. Skilled communicator with winning influence and a focus on the end result. Knowledge and experience in Contract Law, Construction Law, Australian Consumer Law and related legislation and regulations. A passion for building strong relationships and contributing to shared success with your team. Degree qualified in Procurement, Contract, Business, Finance or relevant discipline desirable.
