A DAY IN THE LIFE Oversees talent acquisition processes and strategies while complying with local, state and federal employment laws. Designs and manages a corporate workforce planning process that meets all business line requirements through assessing and understanding business requirements to effectively forecast workforce supply and demand for future success. Partners with HR Business Partners and business leaders to develop and execute enterprise-wide workforce planning strategies aligned to the organization's strategic plan. Leads current and future workforce needs including ongoing forecasting for attrition and changing market conditions. Oversees the recruitment process and its effectiveness, reports on staffing projections and progress, and manages and develops the recruiting team through collaborating to recruit and hire candidates through a variety of innovative recruiting and sourcing techniques. Leads all aspects of talent acquisition from high volume craft labor to executive recruitment, while partnering closely with all management levels, including field leadership. Seeks ways to improve departmental effectiveness by eliminating unnecessary tasks, streamlining work, reducing waste and increasing the use of technology, etc. WHAT YOU'LL NEED A bachelor's degree in Human Resource or related discipline is required. Ten (10) or more years of HR sourcing and full cycle recruitment experience required, with a minimum of five (5) years of experience leading others required. WHAT WILL SET YOU APART Master's degree in Human Resources or related discipline preferred. SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credentials preferred. Ability to travel out of state occasionally.
