Job Overview TE Connectivity's Quality Assurance Teams are responsible for all or part of an organization's Quality Management System, including conformance and continuous improvement initiatives. They work on systemic evaluation of products, services, facilities, manufacturing or business processes, to ensure that standards of quality are being met. Develop and implement quality plans, programs and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. They review, analyze and report on quality discrepancies, investigate problems and execute quality audits, and develop disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. The team works closely with manufacturing, engineering, customers, or suppliers and subcontractors to ensure requirements are met. Role Objective Candidate will be in Quality assurance – Process Quality function for Shirwal Plant which includes: Responsibilities Responsible for Process controls and rejection analysis. Responsible for Handling Customer Complaints and customer Audits (PPAP, Process audits). Responsible for achieving targeted COPQ for Header & Sensor assembly section. Responsible for driving Process improvements through 6 sigma and Various tools. Should have Basic Knowledge of quality tools, Assembly techniques. Responsible for Process and product audits. Responsible for completing SPC, MSA and layout plans. Education and Qualification Critical Experience 7 years of experience in automotive component manufacturing Industry in-process quality for automatic & semiautomatic assembly. Knowledge of Plastic Molding, Stamping, plating & Metrology will be added advantage. Knowledge and technical understanding of automotive processes, components, and manufacturing techniques.
