Essential Duties and Responsibilities Process engineering and design; Prepare cost estimates for water and wastewater projects; Data entry and analysis; Preparation of technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications and proposals; Water, wastewater, and soil remedy evaluations, cost estimation, design calculations, and implementation; Fieldwork such as site inspections, water, wastewater, and soil sampling, treatment/remediation system design, drilling and contractor oversight, construction support services, and operations and maintenance (25%); Chemical data and contaminant fate & transport evaluation; Environmental regulatory compliance services and permitting; Data analysis and management, including databases, preparing drawings, maps, tables, and figures. Education and Licensure Bachelor's degree in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering. (required) Advanced degree in the same. (preferred) Engineer in Training (EIT) certification. (preferred) Skills, Experience and Qualifications Excellent writing and communication skills. (preferred) Prior research experience in designing, conducting, and evaluating the results of laboratory treatability studies, or equivalent combination of education and experience. (preferred) Proficient at Microsoft Excel and other database and statistical analysis software (preferred) Experience with specialized process engineering software such as InfoWater, BioWin, WaterGEMS, WaterCAD and/or AutoCAD. (preferred) Prior internship experience in environmental consulting. (preferred) Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing.
