Come join our collaborative, people-focused, and innovative workplace as we embark upon this unique and exciting journey The Logistics Analyst at Illuminate USA will be responsible for analyzing logistics processes, validating freight invoices, and ensuring accurate documentation of shipments and costs. The role involves working with international shipping partners, tracking shipments, and preparing detailed reports to support efficient logistics operations. Key Responsibilities: Freight Invoice Validation: Validate and keep accurate records of all freight invoices. International Shipping Billing & Accounting: Apply knowledge of international shipping billing and accounting practices. Transportation Cost Analysis: Perform transportation cost analysis and prepare expense reports to help improve cost efficiency. KPI & Metrics Reporting: Evaluate and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to logistics. Logistics Process Improvement: Analyze shipping processes to identify areas for improvement and prepare logistics reports. Administrative Support: Handle administrative paperwork and reports for the logistics department. Communication with Overseas Shippers: Communicate with overseas shippers to obtain timely pre-alerts and shipping documents. Documentation & Records Maintenance: Maintain accurate documentation and records related to shipments and logistics processes. Shipment Tracking: Track the movement of shipments and regularly update logistics reports. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on experience in import/export operations or a related field, with an understanding of logistics and freight billing. Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong skills in Excel (pivot tables) and MS Teams. Preferred Background: Experience as a freight forwarder is a plus. Strong data analysis and statistical skills. Effective communication (written, spoken, and interpersonal). Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
