Position Overview Our client is searching for an Architect to become an integral part of a dynamic team dedicated to an international airport project. To excel in this role, you must hold a professional degree in Architecture with a minimum of ten years of architectural experience. The successful candidate will spearhead technical design elements within assigned projects, offering innovative design solutions aligned with the client's vision. This role involves expert architectural consultation, planning, and coordinating complex projects. The Architect independently applies advanced design concepts and novel approaches. Additionally, they may mentor junior architects, making this an integral position within their project team. This position also offers the opportunity to work on all project types offered in the studio including but not limited to museums, offices, cultural centers, government buildings, embassies, courthouses, educational facilities, convention centers, laboratories, and more. Responsibilities (Depending on Experience Level): Engage in all aspects and phases of a project with good design sensibilities and technical expertise. Work with project designers to understand and execute project design concepts and goals. Apply sustainable design principles. Work under the direction of more senior architects and staff while also guiding less experienced staff. Participate in the development of construction documents and code studies, including the ability to develop design and technical solutions independently. Participate and/or lead the development of design presentations and studies with project designers. Participate and/or lead coordination meetings with consultants and clients under the direction of more senior staff. Eager to learn and continue professional growth. Requirements: Occasional overnight travel depending on project assignments. Architecture license required. 10 years of experience. Construction Administration experience required. Professional Architecture Degree. LEED AP BDC and/or WELL AP credentials preferred. Proficient in design and office software, including Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Rhino, SketchUp, and MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word). Experience in collaboration software such as Bluebeam is preferred. Experience working on large public projects is preferred. Balanced experience in design sensibilities and technical expertise. Knowledge of construction standards, detailing, building codes, accessibility codes, and coordination with specifications. Experience in preparing and coordinating documentation sets. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong analytical, communication, leadership, presentation, and time management skills.
