Apply Here Ethics Intake Analyst (Investigator-Principal Administrative Analyst) District Temp Requisition : 2024-2884 Filling Period: 11/13/2024 – 12/13/2024 4:30pm PST Salary: Min: USD $136,781.00 / YR – Max: USD $178,922.00 /YR Location: Los Angeles In this role, you will work with the Ethics Officer Investigator -Principal Administrative Analyst in developing and implementing the goals, objectives, policies, and priorities for Metropolitan Water District’s (MWD) Ethics Investigating Program. You will: Work closely with an Assistant Ethics Officer, Deputy Ethics Officer, and staff to participate in investigations of complaints of alleged policies and misconduct. Research and propose policies and programs related to ethics. Research trends in government laws, policies, and procedures for performing professional ethics and oversight functions. Prepare statistical and narrative reports for government reporting and internal monitoring. Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to various employment activities. Assess procedural factors such as due process protections, confidentiality of information, and protection of sources. Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field, and six years of relevant experience; or three years as a MWD Analyst III level with relevant experience. Relevant Experience: Government investigative experience, internal personnel investigations, and/or workplace investigative experience. In-depth knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and systems related to the integrity and oversight of government programs and operations. Desirable Qualifications Investigative experience in government (local, state and/or federal) organizations. Experience conducting ethics investigations and/or internal personnel investigations of policy or law violations. Formally trained at a government academy or government training program in conducting interviews, obtaining evidence, and investigative procedures. Schedule 44/36, Monday through Friday /Every other Friday off. Monday through Thursday 9 hours per day, 8 hours per day every other Friday. Hybrid Work Schedule Metropolitan’s current practice in this position is a hybrid work schedule. This typically includes two days a week in person and the other days remote. This is subject to change dependent on organizational needs. Certifications, Licenses, and Registration Requirements Valid California Class C Driver’s License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during your employment.
