Job Summary: Join an innovative team at Baker Home Energy, where you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of residential solar and electrical service As our Service Coordinator, you’ll be at the forefront of customer service excellence, handling solar and electrical requests, diagnosing concerns, and ensuring repairs are scheduled smoothly and efficiently. If you’re passionate about renewable energy and providing top-notch support, we’d love to see you bring your skills and enthusiasm to our team ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Service Calls/Warranty Calls: Answering the service line and promptly creating Service Cases while attempting to remotely resolve customer issues. Troubleshooting solar concerns over the phone and assessing customer needs. Managing the next repair steps following established company processes if the concern cannot be resolved remotely. Electrical Work Intake: Discussing EV Circuits or Service upgrades as needed. Documenting relevant information for the field service team and managing subsequent steps. Management of Assigned/Open Cases: Responsible for overseeing assigned/open cases. Ensuring quality and timely service delivery. Advising existing customers on system operation and utility concerns. Scheduling Assistance: Scheduling repairs, including electrical work, for your service cases. Additional Duties: Performing additional duties as assigned by Management and as needed. EDUCATION, SKILL, EXPERIENCE: Professional phone etiquette with a confident, friendly voice. Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience in Microsoft Office software products. Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and work effectively within a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate well across teams. Preferred industry experience in project coordination, project management, or a related role with basic knowledge of Solar PV System components and operation. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and type on a keyboard for long periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision such as to read handwritten or typed material and the ability to adjust focus.
