We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Development Manager to join our fast growing team based in Houston, Texas. As a key member of our growing team, you will play a crucial role in driving our solar project development initiatives within the US. Responsibilities Lead and manage the development of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects from conception to construction-ready status. Oversee major development milestones, including environmental due diligence, permitting, and interconnection activities. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including landowners, utilities, and regulatory agencies. Analyze market trends and opportunities within ERCOT & other regions to inform strategic decision-making. Manage and mentor a team of project developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and financial models. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and alignment with company goals. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project development, preferably in the solar, renewable energy, or energy storage sector. Strong knowledge of the ERCOT market and regulatory landscape. Proven track record of successfully developing utility-scale solar projects. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong understanding of energy markets, project finance, and regulatory frameworks. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
