Summary Per Se is currently seeking a Civil QA/QC Representative for a long-term contract position supporting a premier renewable energy firm as part of our internal project team. Responsibilities Promote safe work conditions by demonstrating proper use of PPE, reviewing and providing feedback on JSAs, and discussing safe work practices with crews in the field. Oversee all construction work of QA/QC technicians’ respective discipline, taking care to look out for Safety, Quality, Schedule, and Budget. Report any areas to improve on quality and production. Monitor and report on construction activities and personnel within the delivery timelines. Oversee the review of Contractor’s documentation including work plans, pre-task meetings, and training requirements. Ability to use measuring and calibration equipment. Update Construction Manager of overall construction progress & performance along with monitoring and review of key performance indicators. Provide input to constructability reviews and manage optimum contractor involvement activities, looking out for discrepancies in design that could cause delays or rework throughout the project. Assist in the determination of causes of material or installation defects and ability to write detailed and accurate reports for non-conformance. Monitor contract performance against project schedule and milestones, raising schedule delays or missed milestones with Construction Manager to assess whether a recovery plan is necessary. Read, analyze, and interpret Scope of Work, design documents, manuals, specifications, professional journals, technical procedures, contracts, or governmental standards and regulations. Act as a role model for LRE vision and values, promoting a positive and productive work environment. Promote equality in the workplace and adopt appropriate behavior when interacting with colleagues. Protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of proprietary information from unauthorized disclosure, modification, or destruction. Write daily logbooks, reports to CM, business correspondence, and document project activities with accuracy and professionalism. Effectively present information and respond to questions from project managers, superintendents, clients, and customers. Effectively present information to top management when appropriate, in coordination with Construction Manager. Required Skills and Experience Must have demonstrated experience in civil QA/QC oversight over EPC and sub-contractors and logistics oversight. Must have experience in solar new construction. Inspections and documentation of earthworks, ground, piling, SWPP, roads, bridges. Strict adherence to contractor’s deliverables, QC, and safety. J-18808-Ljbffr
