What You'll Do This position requires daily management of all phases of complex environmental projects independently Project Managers are required to prepare project proposals and budgets, write technical project reports, prepare and maintain project budgets, perform project invoicing, review daily field reports prepared by field staff, perform peer reviews of deliverables prepared by other Project Managers, daily on-going client interaction, develop a client database, and regular attendance at industry marketing events You will be expected to display the ability to interact with and train junior staff members on various environmental projects and assist Senior Staff as assigned including the performance of field work, as necessary Project Managers are expected to be self-sufficient and generate new project opportunities from the ECS client database Professional training courses may be required What We're Looking For BS in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology or related field required Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license would go a long way 10-12 years of consulting experience, at least 5 as a Project Manager Experience assessing and cleaning up contaminated sites under FAC 62-780 Excellent written and verbal communications skills Ability and experience managing staff Environmental permitting (i.e.: dewatering, NPDES, water wastewater, solid waste) a plus Experience scoping and executing Due Diligence (Phase I and Phase II) projects Experience scoping and Budgeting projects and preparing written proposals Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and invoicing Who We Are Founded in 1988, Engineering Consulting Services (ECS) is a leader in geotechnical, construction materials, environmental, and facilities engineering.
