JD: We are currently seeking an experienced Director of Development to lead our some of our solar project initiatives portfolio cross commercial and utility-scale sectors. As a Director of Development, you will spearhead our efforts to identify, develop, and execute solar projects, driving growth in our commercial and utility-scale portfolios. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the development of solar projects from inception to construction-ready status Identify and evaluate potential project sites, conducting feasibility studies and due diligence Negotiate land agreements, interconnection contracts, and power purchase agreements (PPAs) Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, finance, and legal to ensure project success Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including landowners, utilities, and local authorities Oversee project budgets and timelines, ensuring optimal resource allocation Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and market opportunities in the renewable energy sector Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred 5 years of experience in solar project development, with a focus on commercial and utility-scale projects Proven track record of successfully developing solar projects from concept to completion Strong understanding of solar technology, project finance, and regulatory frameworks Excellent negotiation and communication skills Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams Proficiency in project management software and financial modelling Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience Performance-based bonuses Comprehensive health insurance 401(k) with company match Professional development opportunities Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $145,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off J-18808-Ljbffr
