This role is responsible for delivering a broad range of administrative and office support services to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the function and its leadership. Key responsibilities include diary and travel management, including the coordination of meetings with senior leaders representing Western Power’s Major Customers and key government stakeholders. The role also includes recordkeeping, stakeholder engagement, financial administration, and project support. Acting as the central point of contact, the role ensures timely resolution of inquiries and seamless process hand-offs across the organization. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and maintaining a high level of confidentiality. Proactive in identifying and resolving issues, the role supports continuous improvement initiatives and business reporting requirements. A focus on customer service and collaboration underpins the achievement of business objectives. Your Role in Action Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Function Manager and team, ensuring the timely delivery of objectives. Act as the central point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring effective resolution and customer satisfaction. Manage diaries, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Support the function in activities such as research, preparing project briefings, document management, report production, and stakeholder communication. Oversee financial administration, including raising purchase orders, reconciling accounts, and managing petty cash, while ensuring compliance with policies. Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and databases, including employee training schedules and absence records. Handle confidential matters with discretion, ensuring workflows are accurate, timely, and professional. Proactively identify and resolve issues, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and high-quality business outcomes. What Makes You a Great Fit Completed Year 12 (or equivalent) with English and Mathematics and/or at least 3 years demonstrated general administration experience. Knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software. Understanding of administrative functions and office practices. Able to deliver high quality, professional, customer-focused administrative services. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
