Summary Per Sé Group has an excellent opportunity for a Construction Site Manager to work with our renewable energy client in Utah. Reporting to the Construction PM, the Site Manager oversees safety protocols, onsite activities, and ensures compliance with laws, company policies, and contractual requirements. In this role, you will coordinate with contractors, vendors, and public entities while ensuring adherence to our client’s safety program and overseeing the total construction site. Responsibilities Project Oversight: Lead and manage all phases of wind farm construction projects, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery, while adhering to quality standards and safety regulations. EPC and Sub-Contractor Management: Supervise EPC contractors and sub-contractors, coordinating their activities and ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and contractual obligations. Mechanical Construction Supervision: Oversee mechanical construction activities, including the installation of mechanical systems, and associated infrastructure. Ensure mechanical components are installed and tested according to specifications. Electrical Construction Supervision: Provide expert oversight of electrical construction, including the installation of electrical systems, such as transformers, switchgear, and control systems. Ensure electrical work is performed safely and to industry standards. Commissioning and Turnover: Coordinate the commissioning process, including system testing, inspections, and operational trials. Ensure a smooth transition from construction to operations by managing turnover activities and addressing any issues during this phase. Safety and Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and best practices on-site. Conduct regular safety audits and address potential hazards proactively. Quality Assurance: Monitor construction quality, performing inspections and reviews to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including project owners, engineers, and regulatory agencies. Provide regular updates on project progress and address any concerns. Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve construction-related issues promptly. Implement corrective actions and facilitate efficient problem-solving processes. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, inspection records, and compliance certifications. Prepare and present detailed reports as required. Preferred Skills and Expertise Proven experience in construction site management, with a focus on battery storage or other utility-scale renewable energy projects. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide onsite personnel. In-depth knowledge of battery energy systems, installation practices, and construction processes. Excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to addressing challenges. Effective communication skills to liaise with diverse teams and stakeholders. Willingness to work onsite and travel as required. Occupational health and safety certifications are a plus. HS Diploma or GED required Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management is preferred Minimum 3 years of project management experience 3-5 Years Experience with utility-scale Battery or Solar/Wind Energy Projects Experience working for an EPC Construction Contractor, CM Consulting Firm, Engineering Firm Experience leading complex internal / external teams, building consensus and driving project and corporate initiatives Experience working with EPC Contracts, Subcontracts General Contractors license a plus OEM Construction experience preferred J-18808-Ljbffr
