Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure that program objectives and outcomes are met in accordance with established priorities, timeframes, funding, and other specifications. Utilize Microsoft 365 software to enhance the organization, accessibility, and transparency of material across the team. This position reports to the (APW) Director and is a participating member of the dynamic, cooperative, statewide APW team. This position is posted in Tucson (Pima County) AND supports/delivers out-of-county programming - necessitating periodic state-wide travel throughout the year. Determine priorities in accordance with grant objectives, deliverables, and deadlines. Develop schedules, oversee daily operations, and coordinate the program calendar. Maintain data points, summarize results, and support the compilation of various program reports. Develop, compile and disseminate program Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's). Connect, collaborate, and nurture relationships with community partners: educators, government agencies, NGOs, and sponsors. Promote University of Arizona water education initiatives and APW programs. Enthusiastically deliver APW programming with exceptional skill: meaningfully connect content to participant and participant to action, ensuring attainment of measurable outcomes. Build rapport with students, educators, partners, and the wider APW team to deliver quality programming, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded. Collaborative members of the APW Team are expected to offer/provide technical advice, insights into best practices, creative problem-solving, and reflection on performance. The Outreach Coordinator is both coach and colleague, supporting the whole team: Volunteers, APW Outreach Specialists, other APW Coordinators, as well as the Program Manager. Physical Requirements: The ability to lift and move equipment up to 25lbs for programs will be required on a regular basis. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: The ideal candidate for this position is adept at balancing projects with production-type schedules and effectively communicating. Demonstrate strategic time management and sound judgement. Can synthesize AZ academic standards, STEAM integration, informal-education best practices, and workplace procedures. Skilled at public speaking and engaging large groups. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with moderate guidance. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required. Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. The incumbent must possess transportation and must have a valid driver's license and ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy, and current vehicle insurance at time of employment. Occasionally the position requires driving a motor pool vehicle while pulling a cargo trailer.
