This position reports to Supply Chain Manager - System Drives Your role and responsibilities In this role you will be responsible for Supply Planning and Procurement at ABB System Drives in New Berlin, WI, where you will be a key member of the Supply Chain Management team. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will optimize the end-to-end availability and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of products and parts primarily supplied by other ABB units or external Authorized Manufacturing Companies. The work model for the role is: Hybrid LI-Hybrid You will be mainly accountable for: Securing material availability and optimizing pricing by proactively managing the supply network, effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders providing updates on inventory status, delivery schedules and potential issues. Managing supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolving performance issues while building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a stable and reliable supply of materials. Coordinating and monitoring open purchase orders; reschedule orders when needed while maintaining Info Records, Source Lists and Material Master parameters. Proactively working with Material Planning, Product Management and Order Execution teams to optimize inventories, fulfillment strategies and planning parameters. Qualifications for the role Bachelor's Degree with minimum 2 years experience OR Associate's Degree with minimum 4 years experience OR High School Diploma with minimum 6 years experience. Preferred Experience Includes: Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SAP or other ERP software. Knowledge of assembly and manufacturing processes with strong Data Analytics and Continuous Improvement mindset. Demonstrated negotiation skills in a multicultural, global business environment. APICS, PMP, LEAN SIX SIGMA - Certifications. Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
