Your mission is to be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment in the field. It will be your mission to support Atlas Copco Rental's growth strategy as the leader in oil-free air rental business in North America. As Field Service Technician , you will report directly to the Customer Service Manager , and will have the following responsibilities: Maintain the fleet in the field Repair down equipment in the field and at customer locations Perform preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the territory Develop and optimize efficient processes and routines Improve measurable success to business targets Document all work performed daily using company-provided hardware and software 2 - 3 years of experience as an industrial-related field service mechanic An appropriate Electromechanical degree or training Demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul, and repair of different industrial equipment including electrical, hydraulics, and/or pneumatics Good command of English; knowledge of a second language is a bonus High energy levels Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in industrial environments including extremes in temperature with walking, standing, reaching, bending, and kneeling Clean driving record for the past 36 months In return, we offer: A learning culture where global mobility is an important enabler for growth. Job Location: As a Field Service Technician, you will be based in Shreveport, LA and report to the Customer Service Manager in our Shreveport location. You will travel to customer sites within this region. This position is hybrid as you will not always come into the store every day.
