This junior resource will be responsible for documenting closeout action, performing closeout activities within Oracle EBS, flagging subcontracts for archiving/destruction, and other related duties as assigned. This resource will work closely with NREL's Closeout Program Administrator and may support closeout audit requests, updating closeout records/spreadsheets as appropriate. This is high volume, low complexity work with the expectation that this resource will close 25-50 subcontracts per week once fully trained (1000 agreements are required to be closed-out). The Compliance Specialist is responsible for subcontract compliance and will be assigned to NREL's Acquisition Support Group PPC manager. This role will involve gathering information on compliance requirements, answering compliance questions, supporting preparation for the PERT, assisting in policy/procedure rewrites, and working the customer help desk as needed. Responsibilities: Closeout Support Closeout the backlog of subcontracts for the acquisition services group. Track and report the number of subcontracts completed weekly. Document the closeout files as needed for completion. Compliance Support Answer internal questions on policy/procedures. Assist in preparation for PERT. Manage the PPC mailbox and customer help desk. Gather information for new compliance requirements and documents. Work with the compliance manager to accomplish tasks. Meet weekly to report on progress of compliance issues. Train with subject matter experts to support compliance issues. Requirements: Education - High School degree plus 3-5 years related experience required. Licenses & Certifications - Valid Colorado driver's license. Ability to manage a high volume workload with quick turnarounds. Customer service skills. Problem-solving skills. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance badge. Must be a US citizen. Successful drug screening. Location/Work Arrangement: Subcontractor Personnel will work remotely 8 AM - 5 PM Mountain Time, Monday-Friday unless otherwise directed by NREL. No travel required. Starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $75,000 and $89,000 annually and is commensurate with experience relative to the position and may vary based on candidate geographical location.
