Position Overview: As a Project Manager at SunVest, you will be responsible for project support from mid-stage development through construction and O&M handover for ground mount solar projects in various markets across the US. Project Managers are responsible for project reporting, completing permitting activities, supporting remote monitoring system setup, and other administrative and documentation needs that arise. The successful candidate will be responsible for a key element in SunVest’s sustainable growth strategy. Key Responsibilities: Project Development and Coordination: Assist in steering projects from mid-stage development through construction to Operations & Maintenance (O&M) handover, ensuring all milestones are met timely and efficiently. Support and monitor the progress of development and engineering activities, ensuring projects advance to Notice to Proceed (NTP) readiness. Schedule and Scope Management: Create, maintain, and update project schedule files ensuring all timelines are met. Manage the overall project scope, meticulously tracking changes and adjusting schedules as necessary to meet project goals. Cost and Risk Management: Monitor project costs, ensuring they stay within budget, and identify potential risks, proposing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track. Reporting Documentation: Help track and update project data in company ERP/CRM platform(s), providing regular status updates to management. Ensure complete project documentation is prepared and made available for timely financial diligence and third-party engineering review. Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain professional relationships with subcontractors, clients, regulatory agencies, and internal team members, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent field experience. Minimum of 5 years of relevant project management experience, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry. Proficiency in using project management software, Excel, and online tools like NetSuite for building schedules and generating project reports/trackers. Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders, along with a proactive approach in identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing positive changes.
