“Position Summary: We are looking for a dedicated Senior Geoscientist to lead the technical evaluation of all assets. This role involves providing high-quality geoscience evaluations for corporate acquisitions and new ventures. You will act as a liaison with the exploration group to ensure seamless project transitions to the development stage. Primary Responsibilities: Create subsurface geologic structure and isopach maps using well control and engineering data. Provide insights into the multi-disciplinary approach to Exploration and Production. Develop subsurface geophysical structure, amplitude, and isopach maps using 2D and 3D seismic data. Integrate subsurface geologic, engineering, and seismic data to produce final maps. Collaborate with a multi-functional team to plan and execute work activities on operated and non-operated properties. Conduct detailed field studies to assess remaining development and exploration potential in existing fields. Evaluate exploration, development, and workover potential on selected projects. Assist in developing drilling budgets. Work closely with A&D to support all efforts. Mentor and advise geologists on geophysical technologies and attributes beneficial for exploration projects. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Exploration Team. Knowledge, Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Geophysics, Geosciences, or a related discipline (Master’s Degree is a strong plus). Minimum 10 years of experience in the Gulf of Mexico. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a positive interaction ability. Experience with the following is a plus: Kingdom interpretation system, Petra, RIO, MMRA, SAAM, Lexco Owl. Exceptional skills in geology or geoscience, including structural and stratigraphic interpretation and prospect generation. Proficient in mapping applications on 3D interpretation systems.
