We are seeking an electrical leader in San Francisco to support our project leadership and high-performance building team. The successful candidate will be a client-facing leader and project manager, assisting and leading teams. The person will possess core engineering skills to lead and implement strategies, with responsibilities as a project discipline lead and/or project manager. This role will also involve making informed recommendations to non-technical leaders. Sustainability will be a key driver in exploring and validating emerging technologies using proven tools, resulting in a measurable difference to meet targets for our clients, our firm, and our environment. Responsibilities: Lead electrical engineering design on projects and deliver high-quality engineering work, achieve internal project goals (profit, etc.), develop, and maintain good client relations. Provide tangible leadership for the project team and client goals, progress, and direction. Develop and supervise team members on a variety of projects in Healthcare, SIT, Rail and Property. Attend client facing and OAC (Owner, Architect, Contractor) meetings. Present technical material in traditional and innovative ways for review by technical and non-technical audiences. Review and prepare proposals and scoping documents and participate in bid opportunities. Foster a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and inclusiveness and build a climate of trust and openness in the team. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, graduate degree is a plus. 9 years of electrical engineering and project management experience. Domain expertise in electrical engineering and familiarity with how this integrates with emerging industry trends/offerings around digital/intelligent facilities, sustainable development, climate services and decarbonization. Experience in leading large-scale projects and delivering successful quality outcomes and forging long lasting client relationships. Demonstrated experience in leading, managing and developing people and working in a collaborative environment. A strategic and innovative thinker with high level strategic planning skills and a keen intellect to quickly understand the Western US business environment and potential. Track-record of building and managing successful relationships with client organizations. Appropriate and recognized Professional Qualification – PE (in relevant US states) and Involvement in professional industry organizations would be well regarded. Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in San Francisco is $140,000 to $205,000 per year. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of San Francisco will differ.
