Job Summary: As a Transactional Attorney, you will join our dynamic and collaborative global team to work on groundbreaking projects in the renewable energy and broader energy and infrastructure sectors. Your primary responsibility will be to provide legal counsel and support to clients engaged in the development of various projects, encompassing construction, procurement, offtake, operations, maintenance, repowering, long term service, catalyst supply, volume commitment, or construction and asset management. The successful candidate will have a track record of excellence in renewable energy markets and a strong background in transactional law. Requirements: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active bar membership in good standing. 4-6 years of transactional law experience, with a focus on Project Development, power, or infrastructure. Demonstrated expertise in renewable energy markets and related project experience is highly preferred. Proven track record of successfully representing clients in complex project development matters. Strong knowledge of energy and infrastructure regulations, permitting, and compliance requirements. Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus). Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and project-related activities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with international clients and cross-border transactions. Previous involvement in renewable energy projects involving wind, solar, hydro, or other sustainable technologies. Exposure to diverse energy and infrastructure projects, including but not limited to power plants, pipelines, transportation, and utilities. Responsibilities: Provide legal advice and representation to clients involved in renewable energy and infrastructure projects. Assist clients in all stages of project development, from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and contractual obligations. Conduct due diligence and risk assessments related to project transactions. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents pertinent to project development. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including cross-functional teams, clients, and regulatory authorities. Keep abreast of industry trends, changes in regulations, and emerging best practices in renewable energy and infrastructure sectors. Conduct legal research to support clients' interests and address complex legal issues. Participate in dispute resolution and settlement negotiations if required.
