Roles and Responsibilities: Oversee the HVDC PDG scope, ensuring adherence to timelines and alignment across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Conduct reviews of PDG progress, assessing time, cost, quality, and risks to ensure project success. Prepare and submit monthly reports for PDG governance and overall project reporting. Collaborate with PDG functions for efficient resource use and process compliance. Manage technical interfaces with partners, customers, and contractors. Ensure project KPIs are met, including on-time and within-budget delivery with quality partner documents. Lead solution engineers, enforce change processes, and manage the project team's daily activities. Motivate and empower the engineering team, provide feedback, and recognize contributions. Assess and mitigate risks, lead risk review meetings, and participate in customer technical meetings. Verify design effectiveness and cost optimization, integrate EHS requirements, and support subcontracting and procurement processes. Assist the site team during various project phases and organize input data for documentation. Coordinate team ROE, adhere to quality procedures, and resolve non-conformances. Qualifications: Engineering degree level or equivalent education in Electrical Engineering. Extensive experience, with 2 to 4 projects as Project Engineering Manager, managing medium-sized projects across several contexts (technology, scope, contract environment) in EPC-type environments in T&D, Power Generation, or Oil & Gas industry. Mastery of involved disciplines (process, tools, technical aspects) and successful experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams with multiple interfaces and products from several countries. Willingness to work in different locations for short or medium periods and to travel worldwide. Fluent in English with demonstrated presentation skills and ability to succinctly communicate complex messages. Demonstrates ownership & accountability, judgment and decision-making, influences & inspires team, relationship building skills, and strong technical problem-solving skills and experience, creates a vision and strategy, and has passion for the role.
