Summary: The Associate Regional Manager – Services assists the Regional Manager/Project Manager with leading and managing the Site/Plant Managers in the region and will oversee all field duties and functions needed to run multiple successful utility scale renewable facilities. This position’s responsibilities include training of on-site personnel, the coordination of corrective and preventative maintenance of equipment onsite, system testing, troubleshooting, and monitoring the quality and safety of contractors performing any additional work required on-site. Requirements: Assists the Regional Operations Manager/Project Manager with managing the day to day operation of renewable energy assets, which may include Wind, Solar and Energy Storage. May manage smaller assets. Builds and maintains strong relationships with owners and stakeholders by understanding their needs, expectations and goals to ensure contractual obligations are being met. Assists Regional Manager with overseeing and managing all contractual agreements with owners, vendors and subcontractors, ensuring full compliance with terms, conditions, and deadlines. Escalates issues when necessary. Investigates outside vendors to partner with RES in future projects. Coordinates with facility operators to create maintenance plans that comply with contractual obligations and ensure successful facility operations. Supports fault finding and investigation into equipment failures and underperformance of energy storage, solar or wind facilities. Assists with writing facility specific and departmental O&M plans and procedures. Maintains familiarity with OSHA, NERC, ERCOT, TRE, NFPA, and other industry groups. Produces operational reports for both internal and client(s). Assists facility manager with on call support as needed. Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected. Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and Company Policies & Procedures. Assists with the automation of site data collection. Provides technical support to site operations. Creates and uses tools for reliability and performance analysis. Manages reliability improvement with site and service personnel. Maintains Operations and Management (O&M) cost trackers and model future O&M costs. Works with various teams to analyze expected vs. actual production data. Leads or follows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action when needed. Reports potentially unsafe conditions while protecting employees and equipment. Uses materials and equipment properly. Performs other duties as assigned. Safety: Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude. Leads by example to show that safety is the most important function, ensuring that all employees follow safe practices while working. Accountable to continually reinforce safe behaviors and correct “at risk” behaviors. Adheres to and ensures all site team members understand standard operating procedures. Qualifications: High school/GED General Education required. Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Business Management required. 1 years Power or Renewables Project required. Experience with utility scale facility management. Strong management background. Field Electrical experience in utility grade facilities a plus. Experience with Energy Storage a plus. Intermediate usage of MS SQL, Strong Access, Excel, and Office suite skills. Knowledge of PI or SQL desirable. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to represent RES professionally in all aspects. Ability to work effectively with other groups within RES. Self-motivated and the ability to interface in a team environment. Strong technical problem-solving skills. Basic electrical (low voltage) and switching (high voltage) knowledge and skills helpful but not required. Ability to reliably respond to operational issues on rotating 24/7 basis. Functional competencies include teamwork, customer focus, collaboration, communication, and attention to detail. Domestic and International travel 16-30% required. Valid Driver’s License required. Anticipated base salary range: $72,000 - $85,000 The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is bonus eligible.
