Position Specific Description Nextera Energy is looking for a Property Tax Project Manager to join our Tax team located in Juno Beach, Florida. This role will be responsible for activities regarding tax research, planning, forecasting, audit defense and compliance as required by the organization. Works to lawfully optimize the tax obligation of the organization. Assures that all appropriate tax returns and payments are filed in a timely manner. Fills the role of initial contact with Federal, State & Local agencies in the execution of the duties of the position. This role is responsible for managing all work flow related to the property tax area. This includes interfacing with internal & external customers/agencies on questions of audits, contract language, and interpretation of existing law and administration of all sales tax software. Results will be achieved by managing/leading a staff of trained professionals.
